I AM A PHOTOGRAPHER WORKING WITH ABSTRACT AND MACRO COMPOSITIONS.  LARGE FORMAT PRINTS IN COLOR AND BLACK AND WHITE, CONVEYED ON MULTIPLE MEDIUMS INCLUDING FINE ART PAPERS, CANVAS, AND METALS. 

images are shot with SHALLOW depth of field creating a bokeh effect that draws attention to the movement and details of the image.  Motivation to capture these images stems from appreciation not only for what exists, but the cycle of life that each living thing experiences.  The dramatic metamorphosis and texture of the details from the beginning of buds to the grace of decay is captivating.  I am inspired by the way light dances on LEAVES AND petals, HOW IT MOVES THROUGH WINDOWS AND SHUTTERS ON THE WALL, REFLECTIONS IN WATER AND ICE, AND the way a spider web shows off color and light in a mathematical way.
